Car was at auction 1/15
www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1963-JAGUAR-MARK-II-SEDAN-180926

Auction description:
VIN P221563DN
Exterior Color WHITE
Interior Color TAN
Cylinders
Engine Size 3.8 LITER
Transmission 3-SPEED AUTOMATIC

Lot #1593 - One of the most readily recognized cars of the 1960s, thanks in part to countless appearances in films and on television, Jaguar's Mark II set the standard for the class throughout its entire production life and today remains highly prized by enthusiasts. This completely restored 1963 Jaguar MK II 3.8 sedan has over $90,000 in restoration receipts that go with the car. The engine runs strong and smooth with a rebuild done in 2013 by well-known jaguar restorer Alan Petrie and the transmission is a Borg Warner T-5 Manual, a well-known upgrade. Exterior body, paint and chrome are excellent with new tan leather interior upholstery. The wood and carpets show equally excellent. Wilwood brakes, rack & pinion steering, chrome wire wheels are the link between form and function. Modern air conditioning, fitted to this cat, will ensure you keep your cool on warm days. This Jaguar MKII Sedan rides and drives great.
Final Price $55,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
