Sellers description:
1962 Jaguar 3.8 Mark II Sedan for bid that I am listing on behalf of one of my clients and dear freind. It has it's original engine with upgraded electronic ignition, Electric Choke and new bushings. This car has undergone an extensive body off frame restoration in 2000 by BMC Motor Classics in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. In the process and through the current owner, some special modifications were made to make this a reliable driver as well as a great show car. A Tremac 5 Speed transmission was installed, modified cooling system including an auxiliary electric fan, new alternator, XJ6 Rack and Pinion Steering, Sanyo Air Conditioner, XJ6 Front Seats, Power Windows and Central Locking. In British Racing Green, it features beautiful Light Tan Conolly leather and matching Wilton wool carpeting and trunk kit and floor mats. This car started off as a rust free model from New Mexico and has got to be one of the most beautiful Mark II's you will ever see. Everything from the wire wheels to chrome and trim to the coach work details and wood veneer are excellent. Over $100,000 has been put into this extraordinary car and is an absolutely incredible value.
