Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar Mark 2 Sedan in great shape. It is a matching number car with a Jaguar Heritage Certification that show it. The car has had a lot of maintenance work and updating done to it to keep it road safe. It starts better than my new car. The Radiator and fuel tank came out in June and were boiled out, pressure tested, cleaned. painted, engine flushed with new anti freeze and correct thermostat. New clutch master and rubber line. New plugs, Lucas coil, Cap, Rotor and Pertronix (Still have the points, if you want them) Grease,Oil & filter 60 miles ago. The SU carbs were rebuilt in April 2012, New SU fuel pump, The Stock Generator and regulator, wiper motor and heater motors were all rebuilt in November 2011. All hoses were replaced. Tyres have about 200 miles on them. Leather seats front and rear were replaced in 08 and still look new. 2012 New Furflex, headliner and door rubber. New door panels and all of the wood was refinished. New Cigar lighter and a NOS dash switch replaced, now all dash switches work. Interior lamps all work. (glove box & Map lamp too) Painted in 2007 and still looks great. It is an XK 3.8 motor with a 4 speed transmission with overdrive. New rear shocks installed last month. All passenger compartment floors, trunk floor and support rails are solid. The rear bumper is nice and the front could use a re chrome or leave it as it is totally straight. The rear lamps chrome have some pitting. Car runs real nice. The washer pump and canister is in trunk (no time to have it installed), clock is in need of connection, I never had a mechanic look at it. It will include an owners manual and a stock jack and lug wrench with it. I also have a service manual that will go with it too. Fuel filters and cover gaskets were also replaced.
