Sellers description:
This 1964 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 was restored in the late 1990's at a cost of over $30,000 by Lippincott's Garage, vintage Jaguar specialists. The dark red interior is in very nice condition complements the body color very nicely. It was completely redone during the restoration by GW Bartlett Company. The wood trim is all in very nice shape. The chrome trim and grill are in excellent condition. The chrome on the bumpers has started to peel. The paint is in very nice condition and still glistens very nicely. There are a few small bubbles on the lower parts of the doors. This is a perfect car to drive and enjoy; or with a small amount of work, become an excellent show car.
The 3.8L motor was rebuilt during the restoration and is still very clean. The motor fires right up on the first crank, each and every time. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all gears. This vehicle is equipped with overdrive, which works just as it should. This is a power steering and AC delete car and has the optional chrome wire wheels.
If you have been looking for a Classic Jaguar that can comfortably hit the open road with today, this is the perfect vehicle for you. Please feel free to come inspect this 1964 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 in person or have a professional inspection.
