For sale at Doc's Jags:

"1964 MK II 3.8 liter automatic.
California very dry, straight car needing paint and perhaps a leather interior. Runs well. Serial # J64 P223502 BW Matching numbers. Note the J 64 customs stamping on serial number. This means it has been in California all its life. It entered a California port in 1964. Power steering, so your wife can parallel park. Chrome wires need replacing but at least no conversion from steel wheels. vinyl interior in good condition. Probably one of the very last California rust and accident free cars left. A simple strip and re-paint, no metal work and one minor dent in left front wing and on top of bonnett. Rubber needs replacement.
This car is a good enough candidate to merit a total mechanical and cosmetic restoration. Some tools missing from tool kit but can supply. Car will be based at our Arizona headquarters. A bargain at....... $10,900."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
