This 1959 Jaguar Mark VIII sedan offered here is an exceptionally rare British luxury saloon that seems and looks exceptionally tidy. It is best described as a very beautiful, well cared for example of this model.

This Mark VIII shares its 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six XK engine with the XK140 sports car.

Fed by a pair of SU sidedraft carburetors, it was rated by Coventry at 190 horsepower.

The engine bay presents as exceptionally clean.

The Borg-Warner three-speed automatic works well and shifts properly.

Body clean and straight. Paint is beautiful.

Mechanically sound - drives just like a MK8 Jaguar should.

Interior is nice - Lovely leather upholstery, new carpet. All of the burled-wood veneer that forms the dashboard and other interior panels, including the dual folding rear-seat tables, is in very good, tidy condition. The four-spoke steering wheel aligns properly, as judged by the position of the emblem in the hub. Original headliner.
