For those of you who, like us, have spent almost their entire lives driving classic Jaguars you will know that the models perceived to be the most collectible are not always the ones that gave you the most fun. The 420 saloon was a superb driving car and, in our opinion, better at giving the owner a lot of fun than the ubiquitous 3.8 Mk II saloon.
This particular 1968 example carries the precise specification in which it left the factory and is described as being in excellent condition throughout. It comes with the original bill of sale, the logbook and various past MOT's and recently it has benefitted from new chrome wire wheels.
It has recently had a full service and the gearbox has also recently been reconditioned and we are confident this is one of the best examples of a 420 Jaguar available today.
Please note: This car has power steering which was fitted when new.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
