Sellers description:
1967 420 sedan. The car was bought 10 years ago out of California, it has been in my garage since then. I bought it because I have never seen a 420 with such a great body on it. There is no rust anywhere on the car, that I can find. I have owned quite a few of these 420's over the years and this particular car is one very early ones. It is the 280th one built. The car was originally Old English White with the black interior, but someone painted it the current color, somewhere in it's life, before I bought it. It is a fully matching number car and the numbers are as follows: Chassis # P1F25280BW, Engine # 7F1872-9, Body # 4F1661 and Transmission # 16980. This car came with all the options, i.e. the factory air conditioning, wire wheels, tinted glass and the rear heated window. I got it to run by holding a can of gas with a tube going to the carburetors. The fluids need to be drained and changed out, that is why I ran it this way. The car looks to be pretty much complete, except that the tool kit is missing. The pictures tell the story of how dry the car is. I was told by the fellow I bought it from, that the car was once owned by the singer, Peggy Lee. I do not have any documentation that proves this though.
