Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar 420G. This is a 50 year old car. It is in great condition for it's age, but it is a 50 year old car. You can drive it away, but there is no warranty. It is sold, as is, where is. It has normal wear and old systems. This one has a 3 speed automatic transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, and electric windows. It also has dealer installed AC that is not working but can be repaired.
I have owned this car for about 8 years and have driven it only occasionally. As best that I have been able to create the history, it was originally sold and used in the Seattle area. It was brought to Tucson, AZ approximately 20 years ago. During this time it has has had 3 owners. It has been stored by each of us in an aircraft hangar and driven a few times each year. Each of us have maintained it and made repairs as necessary. I believe, but cannot prove that the odometer reading of 99,987 miles is accurate.
VEHICLE CONDITION: It is in nice condition. It runs smoothly and drives nicely. It is not a show car. It has not been restored, but was repainted at one time. It also looks like the interior has been redone. There have been body repairs and the paint has various chips and defects. The interior wood is in good condition with only one or two pieces showing much deterioration. It could use some TLC to be a reliable daily driver. It would also be a simple restoration as a show car. There is some surface rust on the underside and one small rust hole on an under panel. There are several small oil leaks. It has a new exhaust system, repaired fuel tanks, and rebuilt front brakes. The tires are several years old but in good condition with very few miles.
