Ebay item 10/13/15 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-/121786156305
Car has a buy it now price of $3,500 for 6 days. 60k miles, seller eight*point_sales
Sellers description:
This project was obtained by the former owner about ten years ago. At that time it was a solid, complete, unrestored car. He promptly dismantled it, had it painted, and then let it sit. For a spell it was left outside and that's when the dash delaminated and the doors rusted. It is running and there are videos below showing that. I have a clear Pennsylvania title in my name.
Engine: Compression test shows that all six cylinders quickly pump up 130 - 145 psi. When started for the first time, it fired up without hesitation like it was just running yesterday. One of the carbs is prone to overflowing, so there will be things to address, but it sounds like a strong engine and likely has on it only the 61,000 miles shown on the odometer. It is running on an auxiliary fuel tank. Make no mistake, you aren't going to hop in it and drive it to California, but it does seem to have a solid powerplant.
Driveline: The brakes are inoperable, but complete. I didn't drive it on account of this. On the lift I did put it into drive and the rear wheels started spinning, so presumably the transmission does work on some level.
Tires: The four new wide whitewall Diamond Back radial tires (Goodyear) mounted on repainted original wheels are one of the best things about the car. They are unused, no dry rot, etc. That's about $1,000 bucks worth of new tires right there.
Interior: Again, it's what you'd expect consistent with the outward appearance of the car. The seats and door panels are there, but pretty much only good for patterns. Since the car has been completely dismantled years ago, a lot of the nuts and bolts are missing, though the major hardware is still there. It will need a dash since it delaminated when it was left outside with the windshield removed. The gauges are there and look salvageable. Some of the interior wood may be salvageable, as well. The seats were stored inside all the time they were removed.
Body: As stated above, it's about a ten year old repaint that spent some time outside. The lower doors took the worst part of that as you can see in the photos. The body itself is pretty solid. No inner rocker or body mount rot. There is a small patch on both the drivers side and passengers side front floor boards, a little bit of rot where you'd expect in places like the spare tire well, but other than that it's rather solid overall. There doesn't appear to have ever been any collision damage.
Chrome: It's what you'd expect on an unrestored car. Some of it is presentable for a driver, but most of it really ought to be replated or replaced. Some of it is missing (the hood ornament was stolen at one point) and much of it isn't bolted on the car. Study the photos. There are shots of pretty much everything that goes with the car.
Glass: The windshield it out of the car and is in decent condition. The rear glass is still in place and is also in decent condition. The side glass is missing (except the vent windows, I have those), but the side glass frames are there.
Summary: It's a bit of a grab bag. Either look at it as a parts car with a solid running engine, or put this one back together with the parts car you already have. Either way, it's going to take two cars to make one good one.

Car returns to ebay 7/23/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1961-Jaguar-Other/173425228580
Current bid: $1,100, no reserve, 5 bids, 6 days left in auction, seller enurenberg, car now said to be located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, 60k miles.
Sellers description:
Running, Moving, Stopping MK IX up for bid. This was bought as a parts car/ possible restoration when i had a shop doing classic car work, when the shop sold, i kept this and another parts car (Also for sale in another auction). It has the original 3.8 and auto trans. Don't fool yourself, this car needs a complete restoration, or is a very decent parts car for someone needing motor/trans/chassis parts.
It runs, actually starts quite well. It is running of the left tank of the car and an aftermarket low pressure fuel pump. There is a right tank there, but it needs cleaned out. The automatic trans seams to shift ok, though I haven't taken it up the road far. Brakes work, but the master cylinder is starting to drip a little. The body isn't horrible, it has primer on it to keep it from rusting, but it will probably need mostly sanded off before paint. The bottom of all the doors have rust bubbles/filler in them-RF door i ground it off and you can see the rust in the pictures. Floors have been patched, Trunk is decent except the drain hole below the spare in enlarged from rust. Couple dings and surface abrasions. Tires have some dry rot, but hold air. Most parts are present, but some will need refurbished or replaced. The interior is pretty, much shot, the door panels are good for patters, the seats are all there but need redone. All the wood needs redone. Chrome is mostly there in driver quality finish. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The only parts I know are missing are: LF, LR, & RR window glass-the vent glass and frames are all there (Just sitting in the doors at this time).
