Ebay item 7/15/10

Current bid $1,026 reserve not met, 13 bids 3 days let in auction.

Sellers description:
1959 Mark IX Jaguar sedan. Powered by the 3.8 litre motor with automatic transmission. This is a very good, solid automobile. Although the car has not been started in some time, it purrs like a kitten. It does need brakes which is the reason the two front fenders are in primer. The man I purchased the car from was in the process of taking the car to have the brakes repaired when he bumped the car in front of him at a red light. It barely creased the fenders but the repair shop primered the complete fender for repainting. I requested the car be left in primer as my intentions were to change the color to white. I have all the lights, trim and fenderskirts. This will make an absolutely georgus car. The interior is in overall good shape with a little cracking in the leather on the back seat driver side. The two pockets that show to be missing on the driver and passenger front doors, I have. Also included is the operating, maintenance and service handbook for this car. I do not have photos of the engine bay as I could not get the hood opened.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
