Ebay item 8/9/09 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,375, reserve met, 11 bids 1 day left in auction.
Sellers description:
I bought this car in 1970 in CT and I drove it back to Michigan. Then I started a restoration in 1972 and haven't quite finished it yet. The car is complete but disassembled. Last ran in 1997 and engine still turns. The body is solid and the floors are solid. Both fuel tanks are in excellant condition. It has a OEM exhaust that is in good condition. All the wood is completed, was refinished and at the minimum would just need to be recoated. I have all the original interior, it just needs to be redone. It was a fun car to drive and gets lots of attention.

Car returns to ebay 8/18/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Mk-VIIII-1959-/260837610847
Current bid $4,050 reserve not met, 2 bids 8 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This car has been stored in Michigan, in a heated garage since 1972. The body is dry, and in excellent condition, including no rust in floor boards, all out riggers are solid, trunk floor is perfect, the doors are perfect, the frame is also excellent. The car was painted several years ago, and i believe that it is not original color. I think it is black, but now it is mint green. It still has a good shine, but is not perfect, and has a few imperfections. The car drives and shifts, brakes and power steering work. The seats have been just redone in Connolly red leather, at cost of $1,200. The rear seat remains original, and all glass is good. Burled Walnut dash was restored including all other walnut trim. I have a truckload of parts that go with the car. Some N.O.S. parts. All numbers match on car. Engine Number: NC1908-8 The car is 98% complete. I have the fender skirts for the car, but they are not painted.
