Opening bid $12,800, no reserve, no bids yet 4 days left in auction. Note, the VIN is assumed, corrections welcome. Seller provided an incorrect VIN 7902225. 136k miles.
Sellers description:
1959 Jaguar Mk IX Saloon.
All original, well maintained and complete classic. Very solid car.
We are the third owners of the car. The person we purchased it from had it since 1972 (he purchased it from the original owner) so it has been kept in an optimal environment.
Original chrome is in great condition with no dents.
No rust (Garage Kept California car).
Good white wall tires.
Good Engine and Transmission.
The wood on the dash and back picnic tables is in great condition.The wood trim on the front passenger door needs attention but that's pretty much the only flaw in regards to the wood. (I have shown it in the photos).
The leather is in great condition. There is one small crack in the front seat but it is hardly even noticeable. It is in remarkable condition considering the fact that it is the original interior and it is over 50 years old.
