I recently purchased an original owners Handbook for a Mk VII on Ebay.
The chassis and engine numbers were recorded in the front of the handbook.
I have not actually seen this car, but based on some of the notes recorded in this handbook, I would bet this car has been scrapped.
Stamped on the front cover is the name
ABC Auto Wreckers
