Beautiful example of this classic Jaguar saloon
Subject of a bare metal restoration
Fabulous car for club events or tours
This superb Jaguar Mark IV has been the subject of a comprehensive, bare metal restoration by the current owner, meticulously documented in the accompanying photo album and presents in show condition today. A five-speed gearbox from a Toyota Celica was adapted to make the car easier to drive in modern traffic conditions but the car remains substantially original in every other department. Virtually every nut and bolt was either replaced or refurbished as required, resulting in a car that would grace any concourse lawn. Certainly one of the best examples of the model in Australia, the Jaguar is currently registered on historic plates in Victoria and will therefore be sold unregistered, with a handbook and workshop manual supplied, along with a complete tool kit.
