Additional auction description:
An exceptional specimen of the 3.8 Mk 2, this motor car dates from 1961 and has covered only around 7,000 miles since a meticulous restoration by a respected marque specialist. Of truly fine appearance in Carmen red with black hide upholstery, the car has the more desirable manual/overdrive gearbox and is superbly presented in all respects and worthy of close inspection. The engine bay is carefully detailed and all the correct tools are extant. Much service history and documentation is supplied, including the original buff RF60 logbook attesting to the original Norwich registration number. A V5 document and MOT certificate valid until 13th October 2004 are also supplied. One of the finest Jaguar Mk 2’s we have seen for some while, this motor car will undoubtedly create considerable interest. Estimate: £22,000 - £25,000 1961
