Auction description:
This very early example of Jaguar's Mark 2 sports saloon was originally owned by a secretary to Fairfax and is thought to have remained with the first owner for much of its life. The current owner bought the Jaguar some two years ago and has used the car sparingly. The Mk2 fitted with larger 3.8litre engine and automatic transmission still presents in good original condition for its age, and is fitted with the desirable wire wheels. The Jaguar is sold registered in NSW, with a maintenance & service handbook and chart and offered with NO RESERVE.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
