The Jaguar 240/340 was introduced in 1967 and were undoubtedly very similar to the Mk II but had slim line bumpers. They came in two engine sizes, but the larger and more desirable unit is rare and hard to find, and they are without doubt better value than the MkII and many of us believe that they actually drive better as well.
The present owner of this 1968 example has been the proud owner of it for the last nine years and it has only had three former owners from new. All the interior trim has been renewed recently with new leather seats, new carpets and a new headlining and there are lots of bills and receipts in the history file and it is described as being in good condition throughout and of course comes with the very popular wire wheels.
The owner of this excellent example believes that the 53,000 miles showing on the odometer is correct from new and it is currently tested and taxed until next year and ready to drive away from today's sale."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
