Additional auction description:
A 1969 model and consequently one of the last, this 240 is presented in very smart order being finished in Indigo blue with red interior trim. We understand the car to be in good order all round, with much work undertaken approximately nine years ago which included a repaint, the work being detailed in documents file supplied. The engine is said to have been reconditioned at this time, with the cylinder fitted with hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel compatibility, and around 5,000 miles have been covered subsequently. All other mechanical components are said to be good and the car is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system, has a manual gearbox with overdrive and sits on wire wheels. A current MOT certificate is provided, expiring on 25th November 2004, and a V5 document is also included. Estimate: £6,000 - £6,500 1969 VJW 977G 1J4150DN 7J4150DN
