Current bid $2,550 reserve not met, 4 bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1965 right hand drive V8 Daimler built by Jaguar as the top of the line MK2. A restoration was completed in 1992 and the car was then placed in storage until last year. At the time of restoration the engine was replaced by a chevy 350 and a 350TH transmission.
The engine conversion was done well and gives a lot more power and reliability than the original V8. There is some paint bubbling due to minor rust in the usual places-lower part of trunk lid and door panels. One small dent on left side rear wing and minor dents and scratches to paintwork. Some rust on chrome bumpers and the clear coat has lifted off the paint on the roof in small areas. The car is complete with the exception of the original engine and transmission. The rear axle ratio was changed at the time of conversion. The Webasto roof works well and the car drives beautifully. There are records of over $20,000 spent in 1992 for work performed and an original workshop manual.
This is a great daily driver, always attracts attention and a lot of fun to drive. With minor body and interior work it would be a great investment.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
