Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar was bought new in London in 1963 and has been owned by the same owner for the entire life of the car. The title is clear and ready to sign over to buyer from the original owner. This model has a leather interior with walnut burl wood dash and walnut burl door/interior. The car was manufactured with a "left side" steering wheel specifically so it could be brought to the U.S.. Restoration was begun on the car and the car is in need of someone who wants to finish the job. The car comes with original bill of sale from the showroom dealer in London, original mechanic manual for the car, original service manual, original unused key fob in mint condition, all the parts for the restoration including a new head still in the crate from London. The muffler and pipes are actually still usable, but we would replace those items. The weather stripping needs to be replaced but the car has been stored inside a garage during it's whole life and is now in a cool and dry storage unit. All the parts including gasquets come with the car and the car is ready to be restored to original mint condition.

It is amazing how this car could have the head put on it and it would be running again, but it just did not make sense to us to do anything other than restore it to it's original condition.

Some additional information I noted about the car is that: There is a tag on the inside of the engine compartment that has a "Jaguar Car Number" = car no. 179342DN There is also an "engine no." KJ1119---.8 I also observed the miles as being 54,804 - there is a picture showing the miles, the steering wheel and the "overdrive" indicator. There is no dashboard or door panel V.I.N.# like there is in newer cars, but the tag in the engine compartment has not only the car and engine numbers, but also has a graph of numbers that correspond to parts for the car. There is a new front grill shown in the pictures of parts, with a new Jaguar emblem that goes in the top of the grill. The Jaguar emblem in the middle of the steering wheel is there also and I mocked it up for a few of the pictures.
