Ebay item 4/20/14
www.ebay.com/itm/281313665623
Opening bid $10,000 reserve not met, no bids 4 days left in auction, buy it now price $25,000.

Sellers description:
This is a very reluctant sale of my wife's MK2 Jaguar. Only a 3 owner car with 82,000 miles and all the original paperwork from new. This is a well sorted old girl, starts first time, constant 40psi oil pressure, drives very well. The 3.4 manual overdrive cars where thought to be the better balanced car over the 3.8, and where the car of choice by the UK bank robbers. Over the last few years, much money has been spent, head rebuilt, new stainless exhaust, new wire wheels, tires, brake booster, master cylinder and pads, drive shaft rebuilt, trans mount, new rear shocks. Engine is very strong and sounds beautiful, clutch and gearbox work well, as do the overdrive. The interior is beautiful original, no tears or splits but lovely old leather that smells only like a quality British car can, carpets may also be original and good condition, wood work is very nice, headliner has been replaced with correct Jaguar item as has the windlace. Door, trunk and glass rubbers have been replaced. The body is very solid, had a repaint about 15 years ago, still looks great and always gets thumbs up but has been used, there are 2 scrapes about 4" long, one on the pass side front fender and another on the pass side front door, i have the original paint that was used on the repaint, she also has stone chips and bubbles, its a used car, not a trailer queen but still a very beautiful old girl. Glass and the chrome are original and all good. Still has the original Motorola radio fitted, works great. Last week, i replaced the speedo cable but it is now making a noise, i will have a look, the wipers had a bad connection, would go off and on over a bump, i took it to my mechanic, now they do not work at all!!. but i have another unit. This old car makes you want to go for a drive, puts the fun back into motoring, she is fast, handles very well and sure footed. I have a clear title.

Sellers description:
This is a very original old Jag that gets lots of attention where ever it goes. It is RHD, no big deal, my wife is 5ft 2" and 65 years old, she drive it with no trouble at all. I have all the paper work from new, we are the third owners, the tittle is in our name. Drives very nice, every thing works except the clock and one spot light (bulb ?),interior is original and beautiful condition, soft red leather, no tears or rips, wood is very nice, radio still works, head liner and wind lace is new, as are the door rubbers, smells beautiful inside. The engine is very good, good oil pressure, no noises, head has been rebuilt last year, clutch and gearbox are as they should be, overdrive works great, brakes are very good, runs cool, new alloy radiator. The car has had a repaint a long time ago, in the original gold color, it shows its age but still looks nice and shines up a treat, chrome is all original and shines nice, good solid car underneath. She has always had what she needed, many new parts over the last 2 years. Stainless exhaust system front to back but it never did sound right, i found a NOS silencer for it, now it sounds like a Jag should, the wire wheels still look as new. This is not the best MK2 Jag out there but it is a very nice original car that looks and drives very well and excelent value for money, these are started to go through the roof again. I know that once it has gone, i will never be able to replace it for this money.

Ebay item 6/14/16
www.ebay.com/itm/141989358525
Classified ad asking GBP 32,995, seller classic_and_sportscar,

Sellers description
BHL 111B was first registered on 20th November 1964 and was supplied new in Golden Sand with Red leather upholstery. The Jaguar is a 3.4 litre model with manual transmission and overdrive. The car is still today in its original colour, retains a largely original upholstery and still has its original registration mark, manufacturers warranty card and buff' logbook detailing its first owner, a Mr Hirst of Wakefield who kept the car until 1969. The vehicles second owner, a Doncaster Company owned the car until 1996, the car then spent around ten years in the Driffield area before being shipped out to Texas, USA where it spent around nine years. Earlier this year the MKII was brought back to the UK and we can confirm the car has had just five owners from new.

The Jaguar records a mileage of 83,000 and whilst we cannot guarantee this, it does fit with the original interior and the general honest feel of the car having low ownership and still being in its original colours and specification. The MKII drives very well and has recently been treated to a full service, new rear suspension bushes, new front ball joints, new steering column bushes, new clutch hydraulics and new handbrake pads. Mechanical work carried out last year included a new brake servo and clutch, around 1000 miles have been covered since. The Jaguar drives very well with impressive performance with a strong 3.4 engine holding very good oil pressure. The four speed manual gearbox changes up and down smoothly and the overdrive works correctly. Brakes, suspension and steering are all in very good order and the car is usable, reliable example that is capable of regular use.

BHL 111B looks fantastic with a smart, gleaming Golden Sand paint finish. The bodywork is solid with a very strong waxoyled underside, panel gaps are of a good standard and door bottoms, lower wings, sills, jacking points, floors and 'crows feet' are all in very good order. Chrome work is of a good standard, wheels are smart and the engine bay and boot appear nice, honest and largely original. The original Red leather tells a true story, clearly indicating this has been a cherished, well kept car that has been dry stored and well maintained throughout its life. Carpets, headlining, doors cards and woodwork all present well and represents a good quality original example. If looking for a superb driving, honest, original MKII Jaguar capable of regular use and long distance touring, this has to be an excellent choice.:
