- Older restoration by Mike Roddy with modifications
- 4.2 litre motor installed, some 'Coombs' touches including louvered bonnet
- Recent works include replacement electrical loom by Spiteri Jaguar

An originally Australian-delivered Mark 2 3.4 with Borg-Warner automatic transmission, this vehicle was the subject of a restoration and upgrade by renowned Jaguar specialist Mike Roddy. The restoration was said to be 'to Coombs standards' and included a bare-metal respray (including the fitment of a Coombs louvered bonnet) along with mechanical improvements including a later 4.2 litre engine, auto, a brake upgrade, a 'tropical' cooling pack including upgraded electrically controlled radiator and rebuilt power steering. BMW air-conditioning, power windows, power seats, CD Player and central locking make the interior an even nicer place to be .More recently the vendor, who is the second owner since the restoration, has had the entire electrical loom replaced. Currently registered to June 2011 with the Personalized Plates 'MKII34', this upgraded Mark 2 represents the best of both worlds- classic style with modern comforts that allow it to be used every day if desired. A Victorian Roadworthy will be supplied after sale .

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
