1966 Jaguar Mk. II Saloon (2.4 litre)#
Registration: GWL 703F
Chassis Number: 121691
Engine Number: BJ8144-8
Odometer reading: 26,445 miles
Estimate: £14,000 - £18,000

This wonderfully presented Mk. II was first registered on the 1st August, 1966 and is the desirable manual example. Originally restored 'nut & bolt' six years ago with bills exceeding £22,000, the current vendor, who purchased from a family friend at the start of the year, recommissioned the car after lack of use and refreshed the paintwork. As the photographs suggest, it has an 'as new' feel inside with the woodwork and trim looking splendid. Finished in deep navy blue with blue trim and new chrome wheels, the vendor has spent time and money through the start of 2017 after purchasing but unfortunately personal circumstances dictated that he can no longer keep the car and thus he now hopes to present this manual Mk. II as best he can for a new owner. A recently obtained MoT test certificate for the confidence of any new owner has been obtained and is included within the history file which also contains receipts and bills from the previous work undertaken and a recently obtained valuation for insurance purposes at over £30,000. In one of the very best colour combinations and very attractively priced, viewing is certainly recommended.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
