An original UK RHD car in original specification with JDHT certification
c.91,000 miles on the odometer and MOT certificates back to 1979
Offered with sundry invoices, maintenance diagrams and V5C
A UK market RHD example supplied by Saunders Garage on 23rd December 1968 with JDH certification confirming its originality, RDD 604G shows five former keepers on its V5C and a list of previous owners with corresponding ownership dates accompanies it. Acquired by the vendor from a classic car dealer in 2022, cooling issues resulted in it benefiting from much work in August that year by Essex-based Daimler V8 specialists, Robert Grinter Restorations. This included removal of the engine and automatic gearbox, core plug replacement, a new fuel tank and overhauled carburettors. All necessary works were completed and an invoice in the history file for this totals over £10,000. Impressed with the car, the company issued a glowing testimonial as to its driving characteristics afterwards. Benefitting from a stainless steel exhaust system, polybushed suspension and LED lighting throughout; RDD 604G is offered with sundry invoices (including a refresh on the engine in 1990 with big end bearing, 8 pistons, crank seals, head skimming and valve guides all less than 11,000 miles ago), MOT certificates back to 1979, maintenance diagrams and V5C. Finished in its original specification of light blue paint over a dark blue Ambla interior. The wood veneer has been professionally refinished and polished to a very high degree, presenting excellently today.
