This 1967 Jaguar 420G was purchased new by a resident of Wisconsin, who received the car in the United Kingdom. The vehicle was relocated to California in the early 1980s by its second owner, and its third owner acquired the car out of Kansas in 1990 and kept it in California until 2023. The Jaguar has been repainted in two-tone green and white, and its green leather upholstery has been retrimmed. Powered by a 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six linked with a three-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle is equipped with triple SU carburetors, power steering, disc brakes, 14″ steel wheels, hubcaps, dual exhaust outlets, wood interior trim, air conditioning, a Motorola AM/FM radio, power windows, and rear-seat tray tables. The current owner purchased the car in 2024. This 420G is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, service records, and a clean Georgia title in the owner’s name.
Finished from the factory in Sand, this car is said to have been repainted in its current green and white in 1985. Exterior details include quad headlights, a fluted grille, a “leaper” hood ornament, a cowl vent, fender-mounted side mirrors, vent windows, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and wraparound chrome bumpers with overriders. The seller notes three rust bubbles near the driver door, aged paint, and body crumpling beneath the rear bumper.
Green-painted 14″ steel wheels feature bright hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 205/75 Hankook Optimo whitewall radial tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted discs, with inboard rotors at the rear axle.
The cabin was reupholstered in Suede Green leather around 2000. The split front bench seat and the rear bench offer folding central armrests. Interior appointments include walnut wood trim, air conditioning, a Motorola solid-state AM/FM radio, power windows, lap belts, and rear-seat tray tables. The clock does not work, and the switch that toggles between the left- and right-side fuel tanks can be temperamental, according to the seller.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a bright semi-circular horn ring. Smiths instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature set alongside a Lucas ammeter. The five-digit odometer shows 58k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter XK DOHC inline-six features triple SU carburetors as well as finned Jaguar-branded camshaft covers. The engine was rebuilt around 1999, and the oil was changed most recently in August 2025.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a column-shifted Borg-Warner Model 8 three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is visible on underbody components. The transmission-pan gasket was replaced in August 2025.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate lists the original colors and component numbers along with manufacture on March 21, 1967, and hand delivery in the UK to the original owner.
