This 1967 Jaguar Mark II 3.8 Sedan is a wonderful car that has recently completed a comprehensive restoration by Classic Showcase to a Show/Driver level, no expense being spared. We restored this vehicle for the original owner and there were no prior restorations. The owner knew about every mark and scratch on the vehicle. A DVD of the restoration process to Show/Driver will accompany the vehicle. It has very few miles driven since restoration. This is a matching numbers vehicle. Having lived in Southern California all of its life, this was a matching numbers, rust-free example with original California black plates when restored to show/driver standard by marque specialists, this work being fully documented and with no expense spared. It has its original 4 speed with overdrive. The Jaguar was stripped back to bare metal and was ground up restored. The metalwork finished and leaded. The body was fitted, then prepared for primer, sealer, base and clear coats of paint in its original color combination, color sanded and buffed to a fabulous finish. A new windshield and door glass were fitted and the chrome re-plated. Mechanically the car has been completely gone through, with the engine, gearbox and the rear suspension was rebuilt. All other systems, including the electrics, hydraulics, cooling and fuel have all been either restored or replaced, with all new rubbers and a new wiring loom. The car has also received a new correct exhaust system, new battery, the gas tank has been epoxy sealed and the radiator has been restored. A new interior in the correct factory materials was fitted and the Jaguar has traveled less than 100 test miles since the restoration. Ready to show or drive, the car is accompanied by a DVD of the restoration process. It also includes all the receipts of the ownership history and its original jack, knock off hammer, and tools. There is probably not a better one for sale in the world today.

This 1967 Jaguar 340 was owned in Southern California for decades and was refurbished between 2010 and 2012 by Classic Showcase of Oceanside, California, according to the selling dealer. Power is supplied by a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Finished in blue over gray upholstery, the car is equipped with 15″ wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, walnut interior trim, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt push-button radio, dual SU carburetors, an aluminum radiator, an auxiliary electric cooling fan, a Coopers Cleaner air filter, and a Bell exhaust system. The current owner purchased the vehicle in 2021. This late-production Mk II is now offered in Arizona on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos and a DVD as well as a clean Montana title under an LLC.

Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires measuring 185VR15. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension, front coil springs, a cantilevered live rear axle, and rear leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The suspension, steering, and braking systems were overhauled during the refurbishment.

The cockpit features front bucket seats and a rear bench that have been retrimmed in gray upholstery along with color-coordinated door panels. Burl walnut veneers adorn the dashboard, door caps, and window frames. Aftermarket air conditioning and Dynamat insulation have been added, and other interior equipment includes a Blaupunkt push-button radio, front and rear vent windows, door-panel armrests, and a fold-down center armrest for rear-seat passengers.

The two-spoke steering wheel has a horn ring and fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and centrally positioned auxiliary gauges displaying water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 4,800 miles, which is said to represent the mileage accrued since completion of the refurbishment, and approximately 2,500 of which have been driven under current ownership. The seller states that the odometer reading is not accurate, and true mileage is unknown.

The 3,442cc inline-six was rebuilt around 2010, and its dual SU carburetors are augmented by a dual-snorkel Coopers Cleaner air-filter setup. An aluminum radiator and a Kenlowe auxiliary electric cooling fan have been fitted, and the electrical system was overhauled during the refurbishment. The fuel tank has been epoxy-sealed, and the battery has been replaced.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, which were rebuilt during the refurbishment. A Bell exhaust system is installed.
