ebay item 12/20/16
www.ebay.com/itm/272490483773
Car has a buy it now price of $5,500 for 5 days, seller benzoholik, 66k miles.

Sellers description:
1967 Daimler V8 2.5, manual with overdrive, gun metal grey metallic over red leather, 66k original miles, last on the road in 1981.

There were only 104 cars produced by Daimler with manual transmission, making it a very rare specimen. Privately imported from England in the late 70's to WA state, last registered in 1981. Proper RHD model.

Only 66k original miles, car remains largely original and complete. Repainted long ago to white, however under hood, inside trunk and door jams remain original gun metal grey metallic, making it easy to revert back to original color.

All glass, chrome, leather and wood are present and in good condition, therefore this car is a good restoration candidate. Leather is still soft with no tears. Woodwork has some veneer delamination, but no warpage, very restorable.

Under the hood is 100% original, no modifications. Engine no longer turns over from sitting.

Rust is limited to bubbling at bottom of the doors, "crow's feet" front bumper support and minimal undercarriage.

Tires are original 185-15's and hold air. Handbrake still works.

Vehicle is sold with Bill of Sale only, no title, and will need to be trailered.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
