1962 Jaguar Mk2 2.4 Saloon - Manual Overdrive - 42,183 Miles
A UK-supplied from new, 2.4-litre car in a classic colour combination with a manual gearbox and overdrive. Matching numbers, four former registered keepers, only 42,182 miles from new and recently fully recommissioned to an exceptional standard.

Finished in its original colour combination of flawless Opalescent Silver Blue with original navy blue leather, original carpets, door cards, headlining etc.
This matching numbers, 'time warp' Jaguar was dispatched on 18/05/1962 via distributor Henlys London to retailer Bentalls in Kingston-on-Thames
Purchased by the last family owner in 1984, serviced and put into storage later that year due to the owner working overseas. It has remained in storage ever since until recently (40 years)
Small and large tools still present. There is service history going back to the 1960s, original sticker in the door pillar which states new tyres fitted at 35,000 miles on 20/11/1971
Supplied with previous owner correspondence, operating manual, Heritage Certificate, two sets of keys, original guarantee and service invoices including an oil service on 24/08/1966 at 20,638 miles costing £1/2s/10d, equivalent to £1.07 today, which included a carburettor adjustment - 26p, engine oil - 10p, and steering box top up - 4p
