Ebay item 3/10/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-Saloon-1959-Jaguar-Mark-1-MK1-NO-RESERVE-/25147164 ...
Opening bid $2,500, no reserve, no bids. 6 days left in auction. 79k miles.

Sellers description:
1959 Jaguar Mark 1. The car has been in storage since I bought it 18 years ago. It was originally equipped with a 3.4 Liter motor but the previous owner replaced it with a 4.2 Liter which I believe is from a Jaguar 420. The head is currently off the motor. I had removed the head to fix a stuck valve, but other projects got in the way and I have since lost interest. Its currently in white primer and the body is very straight. The interior was re done by a previous owner in two tone brown and tan. The car is very complete, however the carbs are missing. It's very rust free with the exception of 2 jacking points, which is a very common, easy fix for these cars.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
