This 1959 Jaguar Mk I is a left-hand-drive example that was reportedly refurbished in 2012 and is powered by a 3.4-liter XK inline-six with twin SU carburetors linked to a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The car is finished in white over red, and equipment includes a heater, a Moto-Lita steering wheel, Lucas fog lamps, chrome bumpers with overriders, rear fender skirts, front and rear wind wings, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ wire wheels. The seller acquired the car in 2017, and recent maintenance is said to include a brake service and an oil change. This Mk I saloon is now offered with a Haynes workshop manual, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, spare parts, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in white and features rear fender skirts, a chrome front grille, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The cabin features red leather seats with matching carpets and door panels. The wooden dash is joined by a wood gear selector and window surrounds with front and rear wind wings. Equipment includes a heater, a locking glovebox, lap belts, and manual crank windows.

The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges monitoring oil pressure, water temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The horn does not work, and the five-digit odometer shows just under 73k miles. True mileage is unknown.

Power comes from a 3.4-liter XK inline six featuring twin SU carburetors. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Shifting is through a four-speed manual gearbox with Laycock de Normanville overdrive. A dual exhaust system is fitted, and the seller notes rust in the wheel wells.

The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate lists the original engine number, factory overdrive, and a manufacture date of September 3, 1958.
