Ebay item 3/1/12 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/
Current bid $255 reserve not met, 2 bids 4 days left in auction. 58k miles.
Sellers description:
4 door Mark I Sedan, 3.4 litre with twin SU carburretors, four-speed manual transmission plus overdrive, four wheel disc brakes, factory wire wheels--all of the requisite goodies. Cotswold Blue (& rust accents), original red leather interior (great aroma!!), rusted rocker panels. Note the additional rust in the last picture that happened since the earlier pictures were taken in 2010. (Please give it a good dry home. I am not a worthy owner! I hang my head in shame. I have no more garage space, so I am thinning out the herd before they all die.) Not running. Note that this is a Mark One, not a Mark Two. No power steering. Narrower rear track. Smaller windows. More massive pillars.

Car returns to ebay 9/1/15 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-4-Door-Sedan-/191679063391
Opening bid $2,950, no reserve, no bids 9 days left in auction 58k miles. Car now said to be in Hanover, Massachusetts, 58k miles.
Sellers description:
Hilltop Auto stock # 136, a 1958 Jaguar Mark I sedan is a fully matching number car. We have the Jaguar Heritage Certificate that will come with the car. Usually these Mark I's would have come to the U.S. with an automatic transmission. This one came through from factory with the very rare wire wheels and the 4 speed manual gearbox with the much desired overdrive feature. We have had this car now in our inventory for over a year now and have decided to let it go. The previous owner loved the car and preserved the cars originality and never made any alterations other than cutting the outer sills off the car with the intent of replacing them. The factory radio is still intact as shown in the photos. All the seats, carpets and door panels have been nicely preserved. The generator went on the car, which is in the boot and needs to be repaired. The inner sills, the jacking points, the bottom of the doors and the floors are in good shape. The only things that seems to be missing are the rear chrome on the back window and the spare wheel. This car is a lot of value for the money. You just don't find them this way.
