Car to be at auction 12/13
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php

Auction description:
Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
Model 3.4SE Saloon
First Registered 1958
Registration No XOE 675
Engine No KF1902-8
Chassis No S974878DN
MOT None
Colour Cornish Grey
Offered here is a 1958 example of a 3.4SE, which left the factory on the 3rd October 1958. The SE stood for Special Equipment, which meant that the car was equipped with disc brakes from new.

Having been dry stored for over 20 years, the car is in need of full restoration but comes complete with a history file including the V5 and previous MoT certificates.

Finished in the original Cornish Grey with red leather, the car is a numbers matching, UK supplied specimen with the original 3.4 XK engine in situ, which is said to have covered just 83,317 miles.

This very rare UK supplied MK1 offers a fantastic opportunity for restoration.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
