Just reduced price. 1958 Jaguar MK 8, Southern car pulled out of 40+ year dry storage. 43k miles believed original. Matching # 3.4L DOHC XK Engine rebuilt at some point. Engine alone worth close to asking price. Very solid body, frame, floor, rockers, Factory sunroof. Partially disassembled for paint prep, etc. I believe I have all the parts, including chrome, wood, fender skirts, glass, radio (AM-shortwave made by RR) etc. New shocks, brakes, front end parts, electric fuel pumps, battery, rebuilt generator, carbs, distributor and much more. Car starts and runs well. Located 50 mi. n of Boston. Titled in NH. Great project, unfortunately must part with due to life circumstances. Will be a stunning automobile when finished.
Price: $5,500 Negotiable

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
