Sellers description:
Lot : 28
1964 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 Litre
From a private Yorkshire collection
SOLD for £12650
Registration No: BLH 3B
Chassis No: P232880BW
Engine No: ZB2372-8
CC: 3781
Colour: Red
Trim Colour: Beige
MOT: July 2010
According to the chassis and engine numbers quoted on its V5C Registration Document, this particular example began life as a right-hand drive 3.8 litre automatic but has since been converted to four-speed manual plus overdrive transmission and upgraded with a MKX powerplant (the latter boasting a freer breathing `straight port' cylinder head). Reputed to have had four former keepers before entering the current ownership during April 2004, `BLH 3B' has been garaged as part of a private collection. Maintained in-house, the past few years have seen the saloon benefit from attention to its steering column, brakes and carburettors. Finished in red with beige upholstery, the Jaguar presents as an older restoration. Riding on chrome wire wheels, this discretely modified MKII 3.8 litre is offered for sale with sundry paperwork and MOT certificate valid until July 2010.

Car purchased by myself from a Mr Leslie Osborne of Norfolk.
In his ownership the car had been resprayed to a very good standard, new carpets and various remedial mechanical works undertaken. It presents very well today - 02/02/2016
