Ebay item 2/6/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Jaguar-Other/142679576413
Current bid US $4,494.00
Reserve not met 19 bids 5 days left in auction, seller roywatts2013, miles not reported.

Sellers description:
This car has sat in a barn since about 1984, very clean California car, no visible signs of rust anywhere on the car. I saw the car running in 1977, owned by a late friend of mine.
I purchased the car several years ago from this owner as he was physically handicapped and could not restore or drive the car anymore. Title is in my name.
Original 3.8 liter engine is not with the car as it was swapped for a 4.2, which is out of the car, there are also two extra used 4.2 liter engines, which could go with the car and would fit.
There is a manual transmission in the trunk of the car which was fitted to the car, but not sure if that is original equipment.
Original color was gold, but sprayed many years ago to British Racing Green, paint needs a respray.
All chrome bits appear to be with the car and very clean.
Interior is complete, with all guages, but door panels, carpets and woodwork need restoring.
Wire wheels are on the car and in good condition.
Car rolls, certainly an appreciable asset and worth restoring.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
