This 1962 Jaguar MK II 3.8 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives.
1962 Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 Automatic. All Original Matching Numbers Jaguar. Rebuilt Dual SU Carburetors, fuel line flush, new starter carburetor body, new hydraulic power steering lines, new intake to air filter housing, all new hoses, new drive belt, new motor mounts, original brass radiator flushed, billet aircraft aluminum oil filter conversion to spin off filter, new front brake pads, rotors, and calipers, new rear brake pads, rotors and calipers, hydraulic brake system flushed, new rear wheel bearings, rebuilt rear differential, reconditioned exhaust manifolds with new exhaust flange studs, new stainless steel exhaust ( factory replacement ) with new original exhaust mounts from the down pipes to the tailpipe, new fuel pump, new thermostat, heater temperature valve, new banjo bolts fuel line to float bowls, 4 new tires plus spare. Registration current and up to date through December 2019. Jaguar North America has verified matching block, head, chassis, transmission and body numbers and issued a Jaguar Heritage Certificate of original vehicle assembly and matching numbers. Ditzler Acrylic Lacquer Old English White paint - no rust. Chrome is excellent. Interior is Suede Red. All parts for repairs outlined purchased from XK Unlimited in San Luis Obispo and repair work conducted by a Jaguar Authorized Mechanic that worked in Coventry for Jaguar for 20 years.

This splendid Saloon is powered by a 3.8L inline 6-cylinder engine, backed by a 3-Speed Automatic Trans. Dual SU Carburettors. Power Steering and Brakes. Speed is reigned in by disc brakes at all four corners, very advanced for the time. Bumper Over-Riders, Dual Rear-View Mirrors, Reclining Front Seats, Rear Picnic Trays. Very solid with floor pans, rockers, wheel arches, etc. all in great condition. Chrome and glass are excellent. Nothing missing from this Jaguar. The interior is excellent, as well. Seats are nearly perfect and door panels, carpet, headliner, and dash are good. Mechanically this example is well-sorted. The 3.8-Litre 6-cylinder engine privides plenty of power, the transmission shifts as it should, and the car drives like a dream.
