This 1963 Jaguar MK II is finished in two-tone purple and lavender over beige leather and is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, dual carburetors, chrome bumpers and trim, a heater, and fold-down rear seat tables. The car was acquired by the current owner’s husband in 2006 and subsequently refurbished. It was reportedly stored from 2010 until 2022, and service in preparation for the sale included rebuilding the brake master cylinder and front calipers as well as performing an oil change and replacing the fuel filter and ignition components. This Mk II is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with service and refurbishment records, service manuals, and a clean Wisconsin title.
The refurbishment included disassembling the car, performing bodywork, and refinishing the exterior in two-tone purple and lavender. Features include a Jaguar “leaper” hood ornament, dual fender mirrors, chrome bumpers, and twin exhaust tips.
Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Michelin tires showing 2006 date codes. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, and the master cylinder and front calipers were rebuilt in February 2022.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were recovered in beige leather during the refurbishment. Equipment includes a heater, front lap belts, and fold-down rear seat tables.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and sits ahead of a 140-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, while gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are housed in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter inline-six was removed and rebuilt during the refurbishment. Service in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacement of the fuel filter, battery, coil, condenser, points, and spark plugs.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The transmission and rear axle were rebuilt during the refurbishment.
A photo album documenting the refurbishment is included in the sale, along with refurbishment records and recent service records.
