This car was picked up in an estate sale, not running, so infomation about the engine and tranmission could not be obtained. Looks like a Ford 289 or 302 motor. Has disc brakes. Minor rust on exterior fenders. Chrome is in excellent condition on front and rear and interior, inside and out. Paint is ok. There are only minor dents. Needs seats and carpets. Headliner is ok. Tires are good. There is minor rust on the chrome wheels. The wood interior is in good shape. Perfect Jag to restore.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
