Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 automatic - 1961 in detail

This stylish Jaguar Mk 2 is a familiar face at Noble House. It was delivered new to the United States in 1961 and was imported into the Netherlands during the early 1990's.

Between '96 and '98, Noble House did extensive work on the car. The Mk 2 was fully dismantled and, starting from bare sheet metal, fully rebuilt and returned to pristine condition. Besides dealing with the sheet metal and paint, other work was also done on the engine, the gearbox, the steering, the front- and rear suspension and much more. Of course, the interior was fully restored. More than € 70,000 has been invested in this Jaguar.

We recorded the entire restoration process in order to be able to provide an overview of the work done. The Mk 2 has only travelled 16,000 miles since the restoration and, unsurprisingly, this highly sought-after Mk 2 3.8 automatic is still in excellent condition.
