Ebay item 9/14/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $10,000 reserve not met, 8 bids 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Beautiful 2 owner Jaguar MK II. Always garaged and maintained. The current owner purchased the car in 1994. Prior to the purchase the engine and transmission were rebuilt. In 1994 the car underwent a cosmetic restoration by Lippincott's to bare metal with a stunning dark blue irridescent repaint (Jaguar color). The interior was redone in gray leather and gray wool carpet. Matching three point seat belts were installed. The wood was re-veneered and refinished. Chrome trim either replated or cleaned and polished. New windscreen and seal.
Mechanicals performed by Lippincott's include upgraded steering to a 420 Jaguar power steering box and pump, replaced generator with an alternator, upgraded water pump, ugraded the heater unit and installed a/c, installed a recored radiator, replaced the lower timing chain and tensioner, rebuilt the carberators, checked valve settings, and brake pistons/cylinders replaced in front calipers.
This is a numbers matching Jaguar that has been beautifully maintained. Original milage is 101,640 with only 3,450 miles in the last 16 years. Records of all work are available. This is a wonderful car to drive and is as quiet and comfortable as the day it came off the assembly line.
