Ebay item 6/23/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-1960-JAGUAR-MARK-II-SALOON-CAR-VERY-NICE_W0QQitem ...
Current bid $6,099 reserve not met, 4 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar Mark II in very nice shape. This car is a joy, and the looks from the neighbors aren't bad either!
The car was in long-term storage for some years, but once the battery was charged and the fluids checked, she fired right up. The only bad thing about the time in storage was that mice ate holes through the headliner. Luckily, the rest of the interior was untouched.
From what my friend has told me, the Car underwent a 3-plus years restoration by Chromy Automotive Inc., Long Island City, NY, back in 1992. I do have to say they did a great job and the car still looks great. I did see some bubbles under the paint by the right headlight. Other that that, I see no signs of rust and the paint still shines. The chrome on the car should be freshened up but is acceptable as is.
The motor is a 3.8, 6 Cyl. with a 4-speed transmission and overdrive, power steering, and disk breaks.
