The car on offer today is a 1962 car, presented in Gunmetal Grey with a fabulous red interior. The dashboard gleams, the headlining is immaculate, the red leather armchairs are just gently patinated as is the leather transmission tunnel and the carpets are definitely red. Why would you ever want to sit anywhere else? The overall impression of the car, Pirelli shod on MWS wires, sparkling Jaguar spinners and flawless bright work is very, very pleasing to the eye.

'JSK332' was lavishly recommissioned by Racing Green Cars in 2008 under the instruction of the current vendor, with in excess of £8,000 spent, including new chrome wire wheels, a straight through exhaust system, Coombs style rear spats, a dog leg 5 speed Getrag gearbox and a louvered bonnet. After the mechanical work was completed the car was painted in the subtle Gunmetal you see today and we are told has only covered approximately 2000 miles since. The vendor informs us that the car drives really well, with good oil pressure and that the Getrag box is a pleasure to use.

This car was first registered in the UK in 1991 having been previously registered in South Africa, is showing an unwarranted odometer reading of 21,800 miles and is supplied with a UK V5C registration certificate and a current current MoT certificate which expires in March, 2016.

One of the most attractive examples of the iconic 60s saloon that we have ever seen this represents the best opportunity you're likely to have to own the most desirable 3.8litre Mk.II before the rest of the market catches on! Don't miss your chance to be driving her away...

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
