Ebay item 4/27/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-Other-/371931664761
Car has a buy it now price of $4,950 for 20 days, seller kurttannermotorcars, 86k miles.
Sellers description:
Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very decent 420 saloon in rare RHD form with the exciting 4-speed manual/ overdrive full-syncromesh gearbox specification. It appears this car came to the US early in it's life and had a previous history of residing in the San Diego, California area. This car has been stored for the past few years and now requires some mechanical recommissioning to return it to the road.
The body on this car is quite nice for a RHD example. There are a few typical body rust spots tha need repair, namely on the front and rear valances, and a couple isolated areas down low on the front fenders behind the front wheels. The floors, boot floor, and rocker panels (sills) underneath all look really good along with the 4 vulnerable jacking points. Panels open and shut well. The car is currently white but was originally painted from the factory a very attractive steel blue/gray that goes well with the navy blue leather trim.
The car's interior trim is amazingly 100% totally original with original leather seats, carpets, door panels, headliner, dashboard, etc. It has aged over the years, but a lot of items look decent and may be saved, cleaned up, repaired, etc. The car's glass and chrome is all complete and decent overall, and the car even retains the front and rear screen finisher inserts.
The car's original 4.2 liter engine isn't currently running but may with a little bit of work. It's fitted with a desirable set of twin HD-8 2" S.U. carburetors. The engine turns over easily when the car is pushed in gear. Current mechanical condition is unknown, but I would assume the car will at least need a fuel and brake system service to be roadworthy. Engine oil is a little dark, but up to the normal mark. Speedometer reads 87k. The car includes the original air filter can (pictured).
Overall, this interesting 60's Jaguar mid-size sports saloon has the desirable full-syncromesh overdrive gearbox in RHD form. With some mechanical recommissioning and easy cosmetics, it would make a handsome and enjoyable motorcar.
This car is sold with a clear title..
