Car was again at auction 9/11

Auction description:
Lot No: 498
1966 Jaguar S-Type 3.4-Litre Sports Saloon
Registration no. TWY 418F
Chassis no. P1B9115
Engine no. to be advised
Sold for £4,600 inclusive of Buyer's Premium
For the past four years this manual transmission S-Type has been used as a wedding car in Somerset, proving to be very popular on account of its colour (the same as the TV detective Inspector Morse's Jaguar Mk2). Substantial works have been carried out at great expense over the past 25 years including a wire wheel conversion; full stainless steel exhaust system; complete engine overhaul by Kenneth Brown Motor Engineering of Glasgow (in 1989); and a complete bare metal re-spray following the necessary body repairs. Maintenance has been carried out regularly and in 2004 the vehicle was given a major service with many parts replaced and under-body repairs carried out. All parts used are genuine Jaguar with work being carried out at Jaguar specialist garages. This well maintained S-Type is offered with Swansea V5 registration document and a large file of receipts dating back to the rebuild in 1989 together with numerous expired MoT certificates.
