Year: 1967
Mileage: 29,486
VIN: P1878045BW
Color: Blue
Engine size: In-line Six
Automatic
Interior color: Black
Vehicle Title: Clear

This is a true barn find that was rescued from a barn in Decatur, Indiana four years ago. The mileage is original at 29,486 and is indicated as actual mileage on the title. It is a good running car and can be driven on to a trailer. It can not be driven home or on the road. It is in need of a complete restoration as the photos indicate. There is external rust on the body, but the floor panels and trunk are solid. The car appears to be complete with the exception of one of the gas tanks. I put the car on to a jack and photographed under the car. I am selling this car for a friend who is losing his storage building. This would make an inexpensive parts car, a tough restoration or a cheap spare engine for your E Type.

While it's tempting to call this car a barn find, this car is actually a runner! It runs and shifts fine, but just has some issues with stopping. Cosmetically it certainly is somewhat needy, but everything appears to be there, so it would actually not be that bad of a restoration job- there is some corrosion, but overall the car is pretty solid. It;s tempting to dive into this job-but that's not supposed to be my job-so if you have been looking for one of these to restore-I think it s a pretty good candidate

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
