    The vendor states the S-Type offered here has been fully rebuilt over a period of 4 years, with over £25,000 spent on parts alone and is immaculate in every way. There are photos and some invoices in the history file of the rebuild, which was also featured in Jaguar Enthusiasts Magazine.

    Fitted with the sought after 3.8 manual gearbox with overdrive, the car was previously dry stored for about 10 years, prior to the re-commissioning.

    Guide Price: £23000 to £26000

    Sellers description;
    1967 Jaguar S Type Saloon
    Chassis Number: P1B59423DN
    Registration Number: HVC 984E

    Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1967 Jaguar S Type Saloon for sale. This Jaguar S Type Saloon has only covered just 500 miles since undergoing a complete restoration. The restoration included every panel being taken off the body, then shot blasted and repaired where necessary and siliconed sealed underneath.

    The Jaguar engine and transmission have been completely stripped and rebuilt. The interior cream leather upholstery, headlining, carpets and walnut dashboards and cappings have been finished to an extremely high standard and we are told that over £25,000 has been spent on the restoration alone.

    The Jaguar S Type Saloon has been dried stored for the last fourteen years and comes complete with full history and photographic evidence of the restoration work.

    The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

    What disease did Lucas succumb to?
