Ebay item 10/25/07

Current bid $2,247, no reserve, 5 bids, 3 days left in auction. 65k miles.

Sellers description:
A 1966 3.8 S Jaguar. Prior to being put into dry storage 3 years ago, this was a daily driver. Carbs have been cleaned out and a new battery has been fitted and converted to negative ground. It has ignitor ignition and car still runs and drives. It has had new front and rear springs and shocks fitted. It also has a partial new exhaust. Floors and frame are good. All suspension and steering in good condition. Motor holds 15lbs. oil pressure at idle when hot. All electrics appear to work: wipers, signals, etc. Transmission has overdrive fitted. I was not able to try overdrive due to no electric signal to solenoid. Has newer carpet and woodwork is intact and in good condition. All glass is clean without cracks. Interior would appear to be the original red leather. Body work and paint is clearly obvious in pics. Cannot find any obvious rust-throughs.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
