Sellers description:
This very rare 3.8 Sedan was extremely fast and luxurious for the day. The interior was very elegant and the trunk and rear seating area were designed to travel in style. The lighting and front end is a sculpted work of art and rear styling was attractive as well. This car has lived in a covered parking garage sense 1998 and was save for restoration until the shop was forced to close due to health reasons . There were a few cars in the collection that hadn't been started in the restoration process yet and this is one. We have had the engine turning over and the compression was good however the carbs were pouring fuel from them so, as you can see the SU carbs are off and rebuild kits are ordered and will be included along with a new battery. It appears the car is very complete with very few pieces missing. All electrical and mechanical systems appear to be in order. The bright work and lights are in good condition. The paint and Interior speak for themselves. There is rust below the peddle area and some spots around the rockers but not uncommon structural rust areas, The fit and gaps are surprisingly accurate. The tires are very old and not road worthy without replacement. We hope she finds a nice new home.
