Sellers description:
We are very proud to offer this 1967 Jaguar 340 Saloon sporting a beautiful Royal Blue exterior finish with original Blue Ambla Leatherette interior! Powered by its original, number's matching 3.4L Inline 6 cylinder engine producing a stout 210 horsepower, mated to a Borg Warner automatic transmission with electronic overdrive. Options include wood dash and door trim, 4-wheel disc brakes, Smiths instrumentation, passenger vanity mirror, British Motor Corp AM radio, retractable front seat belts, chrome wheel discs on original 15" wheels, rear fender skirts, telescopic steering column, day/night rearview mirror, passenger vanity mirror, hazard switch, front & rear vent windows, pop-up cowl vent, and bumper guards!
This car survives from the sunny state of California for much of its early life. The body and overall structure remain in magnificent condition! An inspection of the body seams shows the factory sport welds clearly. The floor pans and trunk floor are excellent! It was cosmetically restored in early 2000/2001 that included a professional refinish of the exterior paint, all new weather stripping, complete brake service, new Bridgestone radial tires, complete stainless steel exhaust system from the manifolds back, re-chroming of the bumpers, door handles, headlight & taillight bezels, full engine service with rebuilt SU carburetors, and much more! We believe the interior to be all original including the carpet. Today, it continues to run and drive wonderfully! The exterior bright work and interior wood are in truly excellent shape throughout. Cars of this caliber continue to be hard to find making opportunities to actually purchase one even harder yet! This car represents a unique chance to own a fine collector quality Jaguar at a near entry-level price range!
